I was looking to purchase a lady's Citizen watch for my wife's birthday so I went online and typed in women's chronograph gold watches. several hits came up which included a few citizens watch websites, I clicked on this particular website and looked through the various selections until I saw the watch I wanted to purchase. My information was then put in on the order form and then came the payment information. I chose to use PayPal because it gives a level of security that I've become use to when making these types of purchases, Once the transaction was complete I make a habit of printing the receipt for my records. The first sign of trouble was when I looked at the receipt and at the the top of the PayPal transaction details page under the person's name it showed how much I paid , the date and the word Donation, that's what lead me to suspect something was seriously wrong. So I first contacted Citizens Watches from a different website to verify the site that was used to make the purchase and this website is bogus. I then contacted PayPal and explained everything to them, they have since then launched a fraud investigation and created a report to bar this member from using their company to help defraud others using this scam.
