I have been receiving emails from a fake Cisco systems manager offering me a production support job with a salary of $400/week. Initially, I responded I was interested but then realized it was a fraudulent email. This was after I agreed and sent my personal information to them. They then needed my confirmation as an immediate response, which I did not provide. They texted me a few days later saying that the first paycheck and money to complete the first assignment was on its way. They also said that I must complete the first job assignment, when I informed them I was no longer interested. Once I told them I would report them to the Better Business Bureau, they continued to contact me.

If this company sends an email, don’t reply! I was emailed by CISCOsystems with promises of a $400 weekly wage, but was struck by how they didn’t interview me or make me sign any paperwork. I had already sent my basic contact info before I realized this was BS, and I’m lucky I didn’t send my social. This is obviously some sort of money laundering scheme so I implore you, don’t fall for it!
