It’s for a
Work from home customer service job where the training supervisor Luke Fay , will be “ live” Monday ( this Monday 8/3/20)
Mrs Estes took approximately 3-4 hours of my time on Thurs 7/30, Interviewing me, asking via Skype MESSAGING, asked me for a photo for my employee ID badge, asked I sign the document sent after I passed the interview four hours later. I printed it and signed it agreeing TO START WORKING FOR CIPHER PHARMACEUTICAL 8/3
pay would be $28.95 hourly plus benefits, 401k, PTO, hlth dental & I’d receive an Apple laptop via FEDEX AS WELL AS HEADSET
I had to provide a photo of my work area, to ensure that I had adequate space.
Mrs Estes congratulated me and then said
“ now, I need you to go purchase an amazon card (gift card) for $50 ASAP, in order to then have the software uploaded prior to my FEDEXing laptop to you.”
“ cipher pharmaceutical asks new hires this, so we can guarantee you’re serious about working here. We’re based in Canada, new to the US, and the new CEO, for CIPHER PHARMACEUTICALS, needs serious not new hires that receive the equipment but never commit and worse, never return our laptops “
Sounded legit, she’s a mother of 3& she knew I doubted the entire NEED FOR $50 amazon card. She said she “ understood, so she had HER supervisor.. Mr Luke Fay
contact me the following day. He had a thick French Canadaian accent, his cell matched area codes of ON Canada,& I actually believed this... I’m usually the last to believe ANYTHING. He stated that
“ Monday 8/3, he would be greeting myself and several other new CUSTOMER SERVICE REP hires ..” mr Fay asked if I had any questions, etc.. I didn’t and sadly I went to cvs, bought an amazon card $50 and wrote reimburse on the receipt, as Mrs Miesha Estes had asked. She then requested I send the IT dept , the code
I contacted that felt thru the website of cipher pharmaceutical ( all which I verified online!). Ergo, a lot of work to STEAL $50! Ridiculous and sickening. It’s $50 gone and now, she is asking for $75 more but that’s all... I’ve reported her and mr Fay
