I received a text message first, about a data entry job at home for $30/hr. Then I was told to download telegram for an interview. The interviewer asked a bunch of questions, and asked for my name, address, phone number, and email. They then stated the hourly wage was $38/hr, and asked if I wanted to be paid weekly or no weekly, and who I banked with to see if it was compatible. They told me to report back the next day promptly at 8 am. I checked back the next day, and they said they were still processing my application and to wait for a couple hours. Everything started to seem fishy, so I checked online and found that many people have been scammed by them. I blocked them before they could get back to me.

Claimed to hire me and pay $28 an hour for data entry . I was then sent a check for nearly $4,000 and I was asked to send it over zelle to another account

The scammer gets your info from careerbuilder and contacts you about employment. The scammer tells you you will receive a check to purchase a Mac computer, printer and scanner for your at home business. They ask what bank you are affiliated with and have you do a zoom video to get your personal information such as account info from your bank to send your training pay and weekly or biweekly pay.
