Best in delivering firewood

These guys has been doing great jobs and I’m once convinced to buy some cords of wood from them. I bought 10 cords of wood and the were able to deliver 7 the same day and came back to deliver the remaining 3 the other day, they also gave discount and helps in stacking the wood because it’s too many for me and my husband to stack alone.

I got the name from another firewood company I had used before that he said was on Craigslist. I called the number for the guy named Thomas. He said he could get me the 3 cords of wood. I have multiple texts still on my phone from this person. Because he texted and wanted the delivery fee up front I asked the name of the company, googled it and it came up with the same phone number so I thought ok this is a legitimate company. He accepted the delivery fee and had told me originally I could pay for the wood in cash when it was delivered. Then he came back the day of delivery and had to have the money for the wood up front because they had gotten ripped off by a customer the day before., Again I argued but finally sent the money because I needed the wood. Had them send me a picture of the loaded truck before I sent. Then they texted and I didn't respond right away and said that they were in the area but couldn't find my house which is ridiculous. Our house is really easy to find. I texted back and thought they were going to turn around and still deliver., Then the next thing I know they say they have returned to Denver and could deliver again on Saturday. Then on Saturday they wanted a tip up front because it was another driver and the first driver had already come down and I didn't respond quick enough to the text and they returned to Denver. They wanted me to send another $50. I refused and said that I would pay the driver the $50 when it was delivered and they refused to deliver without the up front money. Said they would return my $450 for the wood but not the $150 for delivery since they had tried and returned to Denver. I have yet to see a refund. I called the cops and they said there was nothing they could do as it was a civil matter and I would have to take them to court. I reported them to the FTC and was hoping the ScamPulse.com could help put these people out of business or at least give them a bad name and no one will do business with them in the future. I am not convinced that they even have any wood that all they do is scam people for money up front and then never get the product. I sent the money Zelle directly from my bank but believe the only information they have on me is my name and cell phone number. I have records of all of the texts back and forth and proof of the Zelle payments and who they went to.
