Type of a scam Employment
The company sent me a $3500 check to use towards supplies for equipment to work from home. They had me make two Zelle payments for a total of $500 to a supposed vendor. My account was locked while I was trying to make a third payment for $450.
I called my bank and had them investigate the check, and the two Zelle payments that had been made. I am reporting this as a scam because now they are trying to send me 5 iPhones for work wear 1 phone is mine while I had to send 4 other phones to a different accountants. I have told them that I am not comfortable doing that and not send me the phones.
