I was initially reached out by a recruiter on Zip Recruiter, Mrs. Jessica Donald, stating they had found my profile on the ZipRecruiter site and I was approved by "the" company Head Dept. I was job searching at the time and had applied to many companies, so I wasn't sure which company she was talking about. She said that I should reply back if interested for more details, I looked in the my ZipRecruiter details and saw no information on this company she spoke of so I chose to ignore the text. The next day she reached back out to me and provided more details. The company was called Ciberbit, was a online work from home position, full time was $60/hr for management positions and $49.78/hr for other positions. The company would be providing me the equipment and software, paid for training, and a check to pay for all this. I had an interview with a person named Dwayne Dexter via Skype, who was the supposed HR person. The interview was via chat and there were basic questions asked, no in depth questions pertaining for the position I was interested in. They provided a generic details on the position (something they could easily copy/paste from google) and details about the company itself. Honestly, this scam was very elaborate and everything seemed legit but it was just too good to be true. After answering the basic questions, Dwayne forward my answers over to the "Head of Dept" and I was hired, yay! He asked me a few more questions and I was able to ask a few of my own. He stated they will reach out to me the next day and provide a tracking status for the check they will provide me to pay for all the equipment. With all the scams I've read on here about scammers sending fraudulent checks I chose to not move forward. They may be a legit company but everything seemed to good to be true, I don't trust them enough to waste my time on a potential scam.
