I recently used the offerup app to purchase a concept 2 rower model D. I came across one for $580 that was being sold by a guy name Brown from Cianfaglione Corporation. His account and pictures looked legitimate, the conversation appeared genuine, and he even sent me a receipt from the "UPS" store. After I received the receipt I would send the money and he would give me the tracking number. I've done this before and have never had an issue until now. After I sent the money he said he would sent the tracking number and never did. I called my bank and filed a police report. I doubt I will see my money, but hopefully this guy gets caught.
