I received 10 calls today, 11/23/2020, from a 615-610-9960. Two of those calls I was able to pick up and talk to someone. When I picked up, I heard what they said was Allipsus calling in a robot tone, then a real person came on the line asking if I was Chuckwood Tree Service. The first phone call, a woman answered asking for Chuckwood. I told her she had the incorrect number. The second phone call, a man answered asking for Chuckwood. I told him he had the wrong number and that someone had already called this morning and to please put Druid Tree Service on their do not call list. Then, a third call came in from a different number, 251-802-8619 that was from a man who called himself Aaron. He said he was from Chuckwood and explained that I should have received a few phone calls today with tree service quote "leads". I explained to him that we had and I was confused at to why. He explained that he was getting together a new Chuckwood company in Nashville but wasn't ready to start the company so he had all of his phone leads being forwarded to Druid Tree Services phone through a company named Allipsus. I told him we did not approve this automatic forwarding system from him and to take us off any call list they had. He kept insisting that it was free to receive the phone leads and that once his business got going in Nashville, he would then start charging for leads that called and were automatically forwarded to our office. He was very upset when I told him we hadn't authorized that nor did we want that set up. He couldn't believe we didn't want free leads. I told him he was being suspicious and should have called before ever setting up this lead phone system and told him to definitely take our number off any list they have. I immediately blocked both the 615-610-9960 and 251-802-8619 numbers.
