I received a call from a lady saying she was from QuickBooks and needed to update my credit card information for the subscription that I had on file. I told her that I would make the change myself online she kept insisting that she needed to do it. I didn't give her any information I then went onto online to QuickBooks and update my information and I encountered a problem so I proceeded to call the number back that the lady called me from. A recording came on to say thank you for calling support for Quick Books a man then picked up and I proceeded to tell him about the issue I was having in Quick Books with it not updating the CVV code and he said that is why we need to take your credit card information and that they would need to enter the information in. I then gave him my credit card information. I thought it was legit because the recording came on saying that I had reached the support line for Quick Books.

Afterwards I really felt like something wasn't right in my spirit so I contacted Quick Books online and they called me back I proceeded to tell them what happened and gave them the phone number of the person that called me and they then told me that it wasn't one of their numbers. They and I both filled a complaint to their Security department and I called my credit card and cancelled my credit card.
