I had accepted a remote position as a data entry analyst with Ashfield Engage. I was told that I would have 3 to 5 days of zoom training and they would send me money to purchase the equipment I would need for the job. I was given an e check to deposit, but the check wouldn’t go through. The person who was supposed to be my supervisor had become very pushy about me starting training as soon as possible. Then he suggested that I pay a vendor with my own money until he could mail me a check. I asked for a Human Resources number and he stopped responding.
