Mr. Christopher Jones called stating my grandson was in the Williams, Ohio Correctional facility begins held on drunk driving involving an auto accident where he hit another car containing a 6 month pregnant woman. My grandson sustained a broken nose and has stitches in his lips and talked to my wife. He was not very understandable and she could not say for sure it was him. Mr Jones stated he was a public defender and wanted me to post bail for my grandson in the amount of $1950. He was very convincing. I was to wire cash to a Mr Alam J Guerra, 675 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07014. I almost did it but for an alert lady at the customer service desk at a local Walmart Store who said it was a scam. I did not send the $. I went to our local police station in East Grand Rapids, Michigan and an officer called Mr Jones. When the officer identified himself Mr Jones hung up the phone immediately. Hopefully, you or someone can get these bad actors.
