I wanted you to know about a scam going on by one Christopher David Bartlett. He was in front of the property to show ownership and I saw the picture on Roomster. He sent me a lease to sign (which I did) (Could show you the picture if I knew how to attach it). Then he sent me a copy of the Deposit made out to him (Could show you a picture if I knew how to attach it). He even sent me a text from his attorney asking for the additional months rent for security (Which I would show you if I knew how to attach photos). In all I sent the man $1,350 to a Walmart to Walmart exchange to *** ***, Rialto, CA, 92376. His supposed Secretary as he was on assignment in the military.

I did not realize it was a scam until the keys did not show up and he asked for another months rent to be sent to the customs people. It was then I asked for my money back and checked with the realtor to see he indeed was not the owner and I had been duped Have not heard from him since.

Just want to make sure he is not scamming others as he scammed me. He has a very elaborate scheme as he has me send the deposit and one months rent to *** *** and he has a lease and then a deposit slip made out to you from him. Just want to stop him.
