My daughter purchased a puppy on the Christian Home Teacup Poodles website. She was then contacted via text by an individual who told her to Zelle the payment to him for the puppy. Next, he contacted my daughter for money to purchase a crate to ship the dog, and again for money to ensure the puppy so it would arrive safely at our home. My daughter waited and waited for a puppy that never made it to our home. She both called and texted the individual who sold her the puppy and he completely ignored her. My daughter is out of over $2000 for a teacup poodle she never received. The bank told her that because the funds were sent via Zelle there was nothing she could do as far as getting her money back.
