So the family decided it was time to get a puppy. We found the perfect one and I started chatting with the guy. He had 2 pictures up I said I was interested in Thursday night and would put a deposit. He said he said they were getting their shots wanted to wait a few days to make sure they were ok and would let me know the next day. Got a message saying 2 pups available 900 deposit first come first serve. So I jumped on it and sent the money through Apple Pay. My bank called cause I was fussing with amounts so it flagged I said no the transactions were mine I was putting a deposit in a puppy. Guy texts back says he got the money and we can meet at 2 Saturday in the Walmart parking lot in Bellevue. I thought nothing of it cause of covid 19 and not going to peoples houses so no red flags. Got to Walmart sent a text I was there (30 minutes early). No reply. Sent a text at 1:50 again no reply. My husband called the guy at 2:15 (figures running late and driving) and said Hey man were here waiting for our puppy, click. Tried calling back and was blocked. The ad is still up on Hoobly.com and I have 2 people in conversation with him inquiring about the pups so he’s doing this to others and making bank. Apple Pay won’t give me my money cause it wasn’t friends and family and bank said I had to wait til charged went through since they are pending. Problem is yesterday I said they were ok. So now I’m out 1k and no puppy.
