I was arriving home from work, and I noticed there were more than one persons they were going from home to home, they had badges so they looked authentic. While I drive into my driveway, there was a man who was already talking to my husband and said his name was Chris, he said he was a representative of a company that was helping homeowners in this area regarding the possibility that the homes were contaminated. I remembered that we had received letters from an environmental company saying we can place a claim, so it kind of clicked. He said that there was a possibility to get some compensation and what not. He had some forms that I did sign, I don't remember if they asked me for more information. I think this is an insurance scam, I am now receiving letters from my homeowners insurance. I just want to let the public know to be careful what you sign and who you talk to. At this time I am not really sure how much damage they have made. I am now trying to get information from my homeowners insurance.
