Received an email asking me to be a feedback agent. The feedback would provide information on complaints from companies in my area. I am supposed to act as a secret shopper and report the service I received. I accepted the offer, then I received a cashier's check via USPS for $2,965.00 and a letter outlining what I should do next. It seems suspicious. Then I receive a text message asking if I received the check. They asked me to deposit into my account and text them to this number (234) 401-7070 to verify my location and to receive an evaluation questionnaire and the address of the evaluation location. The answers to the questionnaire should be emailed to [email protected]. Also, the cashier's check was dated before I accepted the job.
