I received by mail a Chime debit card with information about my new routing and account number which I never set up. The number provided on the card and online is only automated, so it is impossible to speak to a live person. They request all inquiries be handled via email. Unfortunately, they will only discuss your account after providing a jpeg image of a government issued photo ID and the last 4 of your SSN. Of course I did not want to provide any personal information to a company who fraudulently set up an account in my name using an old mailing address, so I reported this to my credit monitoring service where a formal incident report could be started. Be aware of this scamming company!
