My experience with this company has unfortunately been sad. I placed an order only to be eligible for a brand collaboration with this company on December 20th and was promised a free item and access to a community of support on social media to grow. I was given a discount code to purchase, which is the only reason I was finally swayed into making the investment for the potential benefits. I was told my tracking information would be sent soon in the confirmation email for my order, but the next email never came through. I reached out to [email protected] and asked about why I hadn't received this, was told they would get back to me shortly with the information on January 11th, and for no reason, my order has now been canceled on the 14th. I have been checking my card information daily and I see that this company took out my money on December 29th, but no refund has been issued as the cancellation email claims. I have now sent 9 emails in total asking why my tracking information question was never answered and why my order has now been canceled. I'm quite sad actually as I really liked the item I chose, but I'm sadder to be losing money when now is the time I need it most with unexpected news of cancer in my family. I have been patient and hoping for a refund eventually, but after just receiving another invite to collaborate with this brand under the same terms for the third time, it has become apparent that this is a scam that I sadly fell for. I usually work with brands and find it easy to spot when it is a scam, but this one sadly was a bit more difficult to recognize at first with their large platform on Instgram and such an official looking webpage (chicnyc.com).
