Last March we received the request to reserve a puppy from a contact on puppyfind page.

Everything evolved correctly until the moment of delivery of the puppy.

We offer the included trip since we think that it is easier to prepare the trip from the origin than from the destination

We sent pictures of the puppy's development and information about vaccines and preparations and we always had an almost immediate response, despite the time difference of six hours.

As our reservations are always word of mouth until the delivery of the puppy, I requested several times the confirmation of interest for the puppy, and I always got a affirmative answer

We already had a fixed date for the trip, reservations in the cargo plane, all the official certificates of health of the puppy and only missing the confirmation in destination. It is necessary that the responsible person at destination confirm that he will pick up the puppy at the time of his arrival.

We inform the recipient of the telephone number of the KLM airport the numbers and data and flight times and the number of the embarkation ticket of the puppy.

It was six days before the departure of the plane to Detroit, via Amsterdam. But our customer does not confirm the collection, the agent of IPATA in Barcelona does not receive any confirmation, KLM does not receive any confirmation.

I communicate with her with email, many e-mails so she can confirm the collection of the puppy and she says yes, she has already confirmed that she picks up the puppy.

Then the puppy starts the road trip to Barcelona, 1000 km, to take the first flight to Amsterdam and continue to Detroit.

But when we arrive in Barcelona the puppy does not have permission to embark because there is no confirmation of destination collection

I do not understand anything, IPATA does not understand anything, KLM does not understand anything.

The IPATA agent delays all 24 hours for our client to have the opportunity to confirm the collection again and gives me three e-mail addresses so that she can confirm by e-mail, (KLM Chicago, KLM Amsterdam and IPATA Agent Barcelona)

I receive a new e-mail from her that says she has already sent the e-mails and confirmed, but ... not true, she has not sent e-mails and again 24 hours later the puppy can not get on the plane.

When we cancel everything and the puppy returns home, again 1000 km road. We sent her an email saying that everything was lost, so she calls KLM Chicago to confirm the pickup.

On the same flights, nine dogs were leaving for the US in the two days. All had confirmed their pick up at destination.

These are the facts, I can send you the emails that we have exchanged.

Since the beginning there are more than 80 e-mail, I sent photos and news constantly. And I had an immediate answer. Only on the subject of the confirmation of the collection, the flight data etc, there are 28 emails. All of them insisting on the need to confirm the collection of the puppy.

I'm not sure if all this is not part of a new form of scam.

I have come to think that she planned to say that the puppy had not arrived well and ask for damages, but even this explanation does not seem good to me.

Finally, on the advice of my lawyer, send an email to her, offering her the opportunity to pick up her puppy again, but on this occasion she should organize the trip and compensate us for all the puppy's new care and veterinary certificates.

Although this offer is very painful for me as I do not trust the responsibility of this person for my puppy.

This offer seems to be rejected as she writes me with threats of publishing on social networks about my honesty. This does not really worry me.
