I am embarrassed, being highly educated, that I feel for this scam. I agreed, under pressure of a time crunch, with threat of losing out if I did not sign up as their seats will filling up. They have a recording of our interaction as they took my money. I was excited that I would be provided with hope to use my education and skills in a new workplace, as I was unemployed. Within the first week it was evident that they were offering some services, but after not a match for what I needed. I did not know I would be forced to use social media, I would have said no to that, although it does mention in letter this was not part of their explanation. As I stated I did not have enough time to read-- I am deeply disappointed me myself for not stopping, I feel hopeless at that moment and they took advantage. I reached out to them after starting to participate, asking for a refund. They said NO- and I started to do more research and saw that they always respond to complaints with hey-- its on the person being scammed- you could have said no or you did not seem concerned at sign up. They are very slick and have lawyer back up. Today, I was going to reach back out to them showing them the proof I have been using their system, "not social media( Linkedin), and still have not been offered at job out of higher ed. which is my goal. I looked at this contract again all these months later and feel hopeless that I will receive a refund as they have this dialed in-- I am not sure I will ever completely forgive myself for being scammed, this is a pretty high level scam group that offers a fake store front of personalized support into the workplace. But you just have to do it all yourself, their way and attend their focus groups which may or may not be relevant. I lost the money-- I really can't afford to. But, other more venerable than I need to know this is a company making a great deal of money on their programs-- and unless you will do it their way you will not benefit. I wanted at this very least to share this in case it helps someone else. thank you
