A guy called Dave Wolfe from this company called Check Registry and told me I had an upaid payday loan from 2011. He couldn't give me the exact name of the payday loan company. They were filing and I would be served at my place of employment on Monday. They would call my employer and confirm pay information. He did have my address, work number, cell number, last 4 of my social and the name of my bank. I told him I had not received any notice and he said they only had to notify 1 time a year. He said originally Midland Finance had it and it was transferred to Progressive Legal Services. I told him I would not pay today and he said they would go ahead and take me to court. I googled the phone number and saw this involved with other similar types of scams.
