I am reporting an identical scam someone had listed here for the same scam apparently for vinchecksearch.com. I listed a car for sale on craigslist and was contacted by someone asking for my email address to "give to her father". I was then contacted by a "Vincent Andrews" and he mentioned the site for a vin check report, I offered a carfax report but he insisted it was for his loan officer. Not thinking much of it I purchased the "vin report" since the site had a secure https (you can get it for free, i found out 10 minutes later). As soon as i made the purchase I was taken to a simple site, no contact, no real business - I called my CC company to dispute immediately. I can't believe I fell for this
