I posted a car for sale on Craigslist yesterday and today received an text message about the vehicle. The number's area code was from Nova Scotia and I live in Western US. He stated that he wanted me to send him vehicle report from cheapvehiclereport.com. I offered to use another well known company but, he was adamant that I use this this company. He name was Anderson and he said it was a better report (the vehicle is vintage and is advertised as a rebuild/project).When asked for his location since the number was from Nova Scotia, he stated a city as a foreigner would, not what a local would call the town. I continually offered a different company's report, but he insisted on the one he recommended, even offered to pay me for it when he arrived to inspect vehicle. I said it was only an hour and half from his location when it is actually about nine hours and he did not question the time reference. I attempted to continue the conversation about the vehicle and Anderson stopped responding.
