Cheaptickets.com will sell customers tickets, and advise the customer that the customer cannot receive a refund for a canceled ticket unless they have insurance. When the customer purchases the insurance, has to cancel a flight, and has a reason that meets the insurance guidelines for a refund, then cheap tickets (with an emphasis on "cheap") refers the customer to another company (their insurance carrier). That company will attempt to distort the agreement by any means necessary so that the customer cannot receive a refund. Cheaptickets.com appears to want to hold customers money, and make customers fly at a later date. So the customer's money more than likely sits at a bank somewhere gaining interest for Cheap Tickets. And then, if the customer does not fly within the time period given to the customer, the customer loses their money. Make sure all of the terms and conditions are clearly explained, because this appears to be a company that is only interested in taking the customer's money. There appears to be no real interest in customer service. It appears that once they get your money, they are looking for every possible reason not to refund your money. That's appears to be the situation even if the customer meets the insurance guidelines for a refund. Because the insurance company is looking for every possible way not to refund money, including distorting the facts.
