The caller (it seemed like a prerecorded female voice) asked if I was ready for my interview. They somehow knew my last name. I never applied for anything that would require an interview, so I was confused and asked what they meant. They immediately hang up. When I called back, a real person answered and claimed to have never called me in the first place, then hang up. I later searched up the phone number and apparently it’s a driving school. I don’t know if the whole business is a scam or if a scammer somehow stole this business’s phone number. But either way, it was a disturbing experience and now I’m very scared for my privacy. I also asked my parents about the phone number, and they confirmed that they’ve also received scam calls from it.
