They called from 888-373-1969, saying they were Chase bank fraud department and that they needed to verify a check I wrote from my account. They said before they could do that, they would need to verify my identity. I told them I would call Chase back at the number on the back of my ATM card.

Called and claimed to be my credit card company and wanted to lower my APR rate. They asked if they could hear me and I said yes. I hung up afterwards.

sent text saying they were part of Chase Mobile and needed more information to verify my account. I went to the Chase website and there was no issue. I think they were trying to get personal information.
