This morning I received a text message with a fake Chase logo and a message that I had just 12 hours to authenticate my phone number to avoid an interruption in my service. It was an unsolicited text from a strange number and so obviously a Chase Impostor, Phishing for banking information. There was a very suspicious link below the logo. To the right of the logo box there was a download arrow meant to tempt someone into downloading an attachment. Of course I did not click the link or attachment arrow. When I copied/pasted the logo and link to forward it to [email protected], the link appeared as Georgia Wildlife Blog.
