They called to say that they are calling from Chase fraud department but need to verify account information. I didn't speak to them myself but received the message from my secretary which I am grateful for because otherwise I wouldn't have had an opportunity to google the number and probably wouldn't have questioned if it was a scam. A red flag was that they are only available Mon-Friday 7am-3pm central time. I googled the number and others identified it as a scam and unfortunately there were bad reviews for Chase from people that listed that number as the one they called to speak with Chase fraud and in turn gave away their information and then had fraudulent charges on their account.

I called Chase using the number on the back of my card and confirmed it is NOT one of their numbers.

This Chase scam is calling our family business and our cell phones. When I called the number to tell them to stop harassing us, I was unable to get ahold of anyone but the menu settings are very similar to Chase and I can understand why people would think it's legitimate.
