I received a call during work hours, scammer posed as Chase bank fraud department. They called and said someone hacked my bank information and that they are attempting to make a purchase at the store as we speak. They said we need to stop the bank from receiving the money. So the made me Go to Zelle app type Cancel payment and type the amout of money that was being taken in the orher space to make it seem the bank was going to freeze that amount of money that was being taken. they gave me a email and made me type it in the space, and they told me that was the manager of the department that was going to handle the case. Mean while with all the distractions from being at work, after i sent it, i realized i sent the money to somone. I immediately called my bank, and they told me no one attempted to take money out my account, and they said they never called me. Then they said i got scammed. They said they couldn't get my money, because i used Zelle, and the other bank that received the money didn't want to help CHASE bank to get my money back.

Person identified themselves as a Chase representative stating that someone tried to make a purchase on a credit card that I only have in my possession. Caller stated that someone tried to make a $350 purchase using my chase credit card at a Best Buy in Florida. I have not traveled outside of New Jersey and I only have one card in my possession.

Since the call I did notify my Chase Bank to make them aware and I had them issue me another card with a different number. I called that number that phoned me and it definitely is not a Chase Bank.

On the 26th of Nov. I received an email from the scam artist asking for account information for my chase bank account which I no longer have a Chase Bank account. But if I had I would've opened the email and gave my information to them. A picture of the email I received is enclosed. Hopefully this will help investigate the scammer so that no one gets scammed by this person/persons.
