He initially texted me saying there was fraud in my Chase account. “Chase Bank Fraud Alert - A wire transfer request for $5000 was made. Was this you? Reply YES or NO.” He then called me saying the same thing, with the phone number being the exact same one on the back of my debit card. He told me to transfer money to a new account via a wire transfer as my current account was hacked. Well that new account was probably his, thus he took all my money. And impersonating Chase Bank with the same exact phone number was very scary. He called me in the morning when I was very sleepy too, so my sense of judgment was cloudy. Lesson learned.
