Got a letter

Stating it’s information for my mortgage. Went to the bank. She said it was a scam.

FINAL NOTICE

This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at ********** secured by your current lender. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.

Scammer called multiple times stating that my ssn had been compromised and that someone was attempting to open up a Chase bank credit card. Scammer called from multiple phone numbers but mentioned that the person was using my name and address in Dallas TX. They used the last 4 digits of my Ssn

I have received repeated calls from a gentleman claiming to be calling from Chase Bank. The most recent one used a phone number identified as Wells Fargo. The caller has "offered" to close several of my credit card accounts. He referenced a "law" that senior citizens can't be charged high interest rates. He has allegedly transferred me to someone from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The initial caller has identified himself as Daniel Brown and as Robinson Brown. I have avoided providing any information to him. I have told him I know he's trying to scam me. I monitor my accounts daily. I hang up on him.

Call from Chase Bank asking me to verifying a recent banking transtion. I have no account at Chase Bank (and have never had any account). Caller did not identify her name but left a voicemail with my name.

I received a phone call with a woman asking if I was (my name) and I said “yes” then they asked if I could hear them I again said yes. She then started talking about Chase Bank and I was suspicious so I hung up. I called the number back because it’s local, Waikulu Hawaii, and the recording I got was strange. It’s a recording of a different woman’s voice asking “ can you hear me? Can you hear me?” And then the beep.

I feel I’ve been targeted by a scam.

It was the "yes" scam. We seem to get them here at Bremerton School District from numbers that identify as City of Bremerton, but this person said "hello, hello, and finally "Can you hear me?" The phone was clear, I said "Yes, I can hear you," then she said due to my credit score, I was authorized to get a credit card for less than 6% interest, and I should hold on the line for the confirmation code. I held for a moment and then hung up. I answer the phone initially with "Bremerton School District, this is Ioanna."
