Individuals are selling fake newspaper subscriptions in various parking lots such as WalMart and grocery stores. The subscription is for the Charlotte Observer. You will never receive a paper and the Charlotte Observer will not refund monies paid and will keep charging your card for papers you will not receive. I am amazed the Charlotte Observer is allowed to continue this scam without repercussions.
