Got an email at 4:30 am on a Saturday saying Charlotte would like to use my company for a corporate event based on reviews and my Facebook... it's a new business so our visibility online is fairly low right now and someone giving a date without asking about price and details is pretty unusual.

"Charlotte" gave a company name that does not exist and it seems strange that she would use a personal gmail account to book a corporate event. Info Given:

Their follow up email about an e-ckeck... This is without even asking me what I charge or the services I provide. Definitely some kind of scam.

Email address did not match the name provided (first name was misspelled). They offered to use an "E-check" for payment of the deposit and delivery fees. I couldn't find the company when searching online. They ordered a suspiciously large order and opened the email (which provided our own payment options) and never replied. The whole thing just seems...off.
