Pug puppy

Researched for pugs for sale. Came across a website called Charlie pugs. Adorable pugs for great price on site. The site looked legit. I read through all the information and picked what puppy I wanted then wrote my contact information. Immediately got a response from a third party. Sent an email to me asking great questions to why the pug would be great for my home because they pride in safety and love. Communication seemed great. I asked many questions. Provided photos of the mother and father of pug. Requested full payment through Zelle to start paperwork and get delivery set up for airplane transportation. I asked if they would use PayPal since that way I felt more secure. They told me they did not. I had decided maybe this wasn't the best and told them nevermind because I felt I was being scammed. He was very persistent to get the money and had made the arrangement sincere. He even called me to ensure safety of my money and getting this pug delivered the next day. I felt like he was genuine so I made the payment. He confirmed paperwork was done a few hours later and he would have the puppy dropped at a shipping company that will provide flight information and tracking. I did recieve a text message and email with tracking number and them getting the puppy ready for flight. An hour later I received a text and email stating the third party provider dropped the puppy off in a crate that wasn't of regulation for air transportation and was asking me to pay a refundable fee of $970 after the puppy reaches my designation. I reached out the the third party and three emails to the site Charliepugs.com telling them this is not my responsibility and the company or third party person should of known what kind of crate is required for flying puppies. I asked to either have it be covered or I was requesting a full refund. They have stopped responding to me and no word on the pug (if it even existed). I'm outraged and out $800 and no puppy. All I wanted was to surprise my family with a puppy Christmas morning.

Charlie Pugs/Charlie teacup pugs are a scam

Found an adorable pug online. Website seemed legit and the questions they asked made it seem they really were decent breeders. Contacted Charlie Pugs by email and received a response the next day. They asked when we would want the pup and the nearest airport. Gave them all the required info and were told the pup would be sent by plane on Saturday. They said all they needed was payment and they would start the paperwork. I balked. They wanted payment through Zelle. I asked if they would consider PayPal as it was insured against scammers. I was told they couldn’t accept payment on that app. I downloaded the app, though something felt “off”. The person was pushy and insistent about the money. My bank stopped me from sending the 500 (the limit for a first time Zelle transfer) and I was only taken for 300, but damn. When I asked for the money back I was told my funds would be held as a deposit and I could pay the balance over the next week. I said I wasn’t comfortable with that and again asked for my money back. No response. These people are using multiple dog breeding websites to scam people. Looks like a few folks before me got suckers through a Newfoundland breeder site, mine was pugs. [email protected] is their Zelle payment address. DO NOT send these people money under any circumstances.
