I have been receiving calls from (800) 759-8854. I picked up today. I spoke to a "Charles" who said my Comed bill was overdue and power would be shut off in 45 minutes if I didn't contact the Comed's accounting dept to pay off the bill. I started asking questions. He didn't know who's name the account under and said something about a letter I received. He gave me the number (888) 999-3175 to call, said I needed to call immediately. When I called the number, the automated message was scarily close to Comed's (different option numbers). A woman answered immediately wanting my account number and credit card number. When I questioned validity, she repeated said power would be shut off in 45 minutes if balance not paid. She wanted my acct number and/or service address to check balance. I refused both and ended the call.
