They called me and said I have a civil suit against me for a payday loan in 2012 at my old address *** *** *** Nj and I haven't lived there since 2010. They said they can stop the process but I have to pay my loan of 752.00 I don't remember having one at that time 2012 they have my Ssn and my old address my email address old one was compromised *** I gave them my new address I thought it was true because I had payday loans in the pass but I paid them off. So I looked them up on website and it said they are scam artists. They have my ssn what do I do about that and wanted to report them.

was a recording stating they were calling from Chaplain Financial services and would have me served at work or home if I didn't call. That the county clerk would be serving me immediately if not sooner if I did not respond. I looked the number up at 800notes and quite a few people have received the same call. Just need to know if this is a scam or not
