I have been asking these people to please send me the proper mailing address to settle my account and they refuse to give me this information. I have been unemployed since September 11, 2019 due to medical issues that arose and explained to these representatives in Chanique that I could no longer subscribe to their product to please cancel. I was then told I have to keep receiving their product which I could not afford regardless because they can add arrearages on my bill to keep collecting deficits until I pay off my bill. I explained to 7 different Chanique Reps when I am gainfully employed again I will pay off my bill for the 1st product I ordered back in September 2019 and please cancel my subscription. They told me I could not cancel it until I pay off my 1st bill. I explained to them once again that I was not able. I asked for their mailing address to prove that I was speaking with a legitimate company. They refused to give me information to their mailing address or website. I was then told that their website is not working to cancel online if need be. They said I couldn't do it so now as a consumer they are trying to trap me in a revolving balance of a product I do no want. I did agree to Chanique as soon as I got gainfully employed again I would pay the balance of the 1st product but I did not request the 2nd one they just shipped it to me against my approval. I need them to stop sending me product I cannot use or afford. I explained to the Chanique Reps I will send back the 2nd product they sent me unopened. I was then told I couldn't do it. They are not practicing good business practices by trapping customers the way they are. If they could be shut down for illegal business practices with the public this would be an asset to our society. They are using entrapment in funneling money from consumers. This is morally and unethical to do.

My 79 year old mother ordered some age defying cream that they said you would only have to pay about $15 for...as she understood. After 14 days, she was charged over $200. I went to the website. It alludes to the fact that you get the product during this trial period and all you have to pay is the 15 dollars. It is never mentioned that you have to call within 14 days or they will charge you over 200 dollars. They will say it is not a scam, that she could have called within the 14 days to cancel and she would not have been charged over $200. She never saw that she needed to call within 14 days or she would be charged over $200. They would not allow us to send the cream back although it had not been opened. Now, my 79 year old mother has no grocery money this month because of this scam and we threw the stupid cheap cream in the trash. They preyed on this elderly lady. There was no where to write a reveiw of the product and so other's could be warned about this scam, tricky buissness practice. I am a college graduate and found the site very unclear and confusing. I saw nothing regarding a 14 day trial, although when I called they said it was on the website. ??? I certainly never saw that one would be charged over 200 dollars for this product...ever. She would have not ordered it to begin with had that been clear. This is what they are hoping for. I'm sure mother will never get her money back and I will be sure she is fed this month but please do something to stop these folk and so that other elders (or anyone) will not fall for this. Everyone we talked to (several representatives) barely spoke english and so I am sure these are not americans. I am sure they are laughing all the way to the bank about how stupid we americans are. Ugh. Thank you so much.
