I was in a hurry to do a mail forwarding request for my business. I "googled" USPS mail forwarding, chose the one that looked right (well, at least it said official), and filled out the online form. The link I followed took me to a page that looked exactly like the actual USPS web site. I got to the payment part and the site said it would cost $49.95. I figured with all of the shenanigans at the USPS in 2020 it didn't surprise me that it would cost that much now. I entered my credit card information and hit enter. A few minutes later I received an email from "Privacywall Org" confirming my purchase. I checked my credit card and there is a charge from Privacywall Org not USPS Change of Address. I typed in the actual site address for USPS and discovered that a change of address still only costs $1.05. When I tried to find the scam page again it doesn't show up in my search. If I enter the name of the company from the email and the credit card charge I'm taken to a page that looks different than what I filled out.
