I received a letter from USPS informing me that I needed to renew my change of address, and I could change it online for a $1.00 fee, so I went online to, I was pretty sure, the USPS website, and did my change. That was this afternoon. Tonight I saw I had received an email from the entity that did the change, stating that my address had been changed, and MY ACCOUNT WAS BEING CHARGED $44.50. Say whaat? I am going to check with my bank but this is a total ripoff!! I could have walked into the post office and did it for free, but thought this would keep me out of one more public place since I am a senior citizen.
