I was looking for a puppy, website looked legit, googled to see if anything bad came up and nothing did. Spoke a few times over text and email about the puppy and decided it was a go. Sent a deposit. Time to transport the puppy and then another company called wanting even more money. This phone number was 918-973-6411 claiming that the owner didn’t provide the correct carrier etc. well I had paid for a nanny to bring in lap so I was confused on why I would need a super expensive carrier.googled the number and scam after scam showed up on this number. After I requested my money back from the owner because I didn’t pay for a dog to be transported this way all communications stopped.

My children wanted a french bulldog, so we did research and found an interesting website: https://championbloodlinefrenchies.com/. We had many emails back and forth - the seller informed me that we must make the payment upfront before they can ship the dog to us. They sent me a contract with all parties names mentioned, all the details of the sale etc. They wouldn't move forward until the contract was signed, so I felt it's probably the 'real deal'.

I sent USD1000 for the dog. The next day, the "shippers" contacted me. They told me the dog had to be shipped in a special crate to ensure it's safe arrival and that I had to pay for it (another USD1000). I contacted the seller to ask him what this was all about and that he hadn't informed me. He told me he couldn't help me at the moment because he was in the hospital with his sick wife "who was dying". He asked me to just take care of the shipping and then he would follow up with the shippers afterwards to clear up the issue. I agreed and sent the payment for shipping. After that, I didn't hear one word from either the shipper or the seller. The dog was never delivered. I lost 2k on this, including much heartbreak.
