I first requested a quote for 50 church chairs, which had shipping included on it. It took place around thanksgiving time, & then I got an email saying they had a "black Friday special" going, for free shipping. So I placed the order for them and sent my check. We had phone conversations going on during all this time and he sounded very professional. We had the understanding that the chairs wouldn't be shipped until the check cleared.... Sounded reasonable...As a business owner I totally understood. 12 days later he called me and said the chairs were being shipped. When I asked for an ETA, he said "probably next week sometime". So I allowed time for them to get here (in Oregon) and when they didn't arrive in due time, I started asking for a tracking number and some documentation that they had been sent. I never had received a receipt for my $2400, but I saw in my bank that the check had been cashed. So he kept telling me that he'd be emailing me the tracking number..."I promise!" I asked him where they were coming from and by what trucking company. He said they were coming from GA via Roadrunner. On the invoice it had said from TX using R-L. I googled each company and saw that they were indeed companies. I decided to call both Trucking firms and BOTH of them said that they did NOT have any deliveries from "Event Sales", and nothing going to my address. Then I started checking online about this company and found out there were LOTS of others who had been scammed by this same person. I should have checked these places before I ordered, but the website was so indepth and professional looking/sounding. There were even reviews (all good of course! which anybody can write their own reviews!) I always check the reviews before ordering!
