The business uses a letter to insinuate that you need to buy a copy of a financing statement UCC, prominate display in all caps of State of North Carolina Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement at top of letter, looks very official, but buried in the letter is says it is a solicitation. Very easy to write a check thinking this is necessary after financing of an item.
