Handyman had done work on my home before with no problems. But, on a job to repair an area of my dining room floor, he did work on June 8, 2021 he never finished the job. Did could not finish that day, something about needing more material but promised to come back in the a.m. of June 9 to finish the job. He asked to be paid and since he had done work without problems before for us, I saw no reason to distrust him. Meanwhile, the floor had also deteriorated again minus the sealant.

He never returned. Subsequent phone calls and an email were not returned. When my partner finally got hold of him in March 2022, he promised to finish the job, but did not. Several phone calls later were not returned until he called one afternoon and threatened my partner in a vague manner. He also told him to go expletive deleted himself and hung up. I reported the whole deal to the OC Sheriff's Department who sent officers to my home to interview me. I have case numbers.
