Think this is a scam

This is the email I received this morning it was sounding to good to be true and the Gmail address was to much of a red flag for me. Didn't even respond to this just blocked them and thought I would share.

Job Description:
Your job description will be to interact with potential customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, help resolve any customer complaints, concerns and requests about our services. Your primary objective is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. Build positive relationships with them. You'll be handling inbound calls. Keeping your customers happy should be your top priority.

You will be paid $35 per hour during working hours and $20per hour during training. This is a remote position with a flexible work schedule.

Yes, I have had the exact experience with Brittany. I went through to when she said that I will receive a check to deposit immediately into my checking account. I asked about my employment packet and she told me that I will receive it by FedEx. Absolutely no way shape or from is this legit.

Email Scam

I received my second email this morning for an interview with Certa Therapeutic for a remote customer service position that I never applied for. My first clue on the scam is the email address being from gmail. I’m going to delete this second request as well.

Is this too good to be true

I also recieved an email from careerbuilder for a Skype interview for Certa Therapeutics with a long list of questions to answer and am to receive a check to purchase equipment for the position. Was wondering if it could be a scam, so I decided to use the company website's "contact us" function to send a message and ask if they are in fact hiring or if I am being scammed. Will update when I recieve a response from a company representative!

Just finished a weird Skype interview that was a list of questions that I was to answer by text. They emailed me a offer of employment that I will send back to see what they say. I have yet to actually speak to someone. I never applied for this position. They claim they got my resume from careerbuilder. The website is brand new made this year.

I believe this is a scam. My emails list a contact of Hillary Michael. The first email received referenced a messaging site I’d never heard of for an interview, the second references Skype. The gmail email address is an immediate red flag.

I applied for a job through Career builder, work from home customer service. Received an email Monday morning, did a Skype interview that felt like a scam, but I was hopeful. They offered me a job without ever actually talking to me and then informed me that I was going to receive a check to go purchase equipment, which is when I was sure it was a scam.
