Century Link Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Seattle, WA, USA

A male left a message...marked urgent...saying that it was a follow up call for an announcement from a couple of months before. That Century Link had a new feature to field/block robot calls such as telemarketers, scams etc. He said that it is called "Max Command" and that it changes *98... to... *98* . That this an optional upgrade is 100% effective. That the cost starts at 98 cents per month and there is a steep discount for those over the age of 60. I could return the call by dialing 88 right away or phone 1-888-264-4544.

I do have Century Link so I went in person to the local Century Link office to inquire if this was legit. NO! That Century Link never solicits by phone. That I should contact the ScamPulse.com or FBI scam line.
