Offered a employee contract. The first month as a 1099 employee and if job done well made full time employee after 30 days. I received e mail that I passed probationary program. Promised $3350 for buying and shipping product. They provided the web site, prepaid fed ex labels. They deposited money into my credit card for purchases. I have never received first paycheck and was told lost in mail and resent. I noticed this has happened to others from a web search. I dealt with 3 individuals, one in payroll Wendy Kron, one curator supervisor Jackie Batten, and Jessica Morrison on special product purchase.

Centexp offered a job to be an order fulfillment specialist. I had a screening call and then got an email that I received a conditional job offer. This meant that I would work for the company for a 30 day probationary period and then be evaluated to see if I am capable enough to keep working with them. After completing the 30 days, they said that I would receive my paycheck in the mail - but I never did. After following up multiple times, they stopped responding. I used my own money to pay for materials to complete their tasks and they had written in the contract that it would all be reimbursed plus the pay that was promised.

centexp dot com is a 100% scam company. This company is registered in Pakistan. The phone numbers on their web are non-functioning. They are stealing identity of people. They offer job on-line as order full fulfillment specialist etc. They send few things at home to redirect. Then they send IRS tax form. They ask for drivers' license, Social Number and Bank Information. After receiving all, they shutdown the trust-crm account. Be aware. They are being reported to FBI. The supervisor at the company is Jackie Batten. May be a fake name. The email is Jackie Batten at Centexp. Linkedin ID number is 352491296/

I was contacted by phone by the company, Centexp, in regards to a job offer for an Order Fulfillment Specialist. I completed a phone interview and was offered a position through email the same day. I was told to complete paperwork via email, that included all of my personal information and I also had to fill out a W-2 form. After sending back the paperwork they sent me, I was told to download an app on my computer called Trust CRM to notate the packages I would be receiving, reviewing, and shipping it back out. I was told that I would be in a 30 day probationary period before I would receive my first pay. After completing the 30 days, I contacted HR and spoke to a Kendal Bentley ([email protected]) in regards to completing my probationary period and meanings of pay. She assured me that my check would be arriving and forwarded me to the payroll department with any questions. As pay day was approaching, I emailed the payroll department ([email protected]) the same week to make sure that I would still be receiving my check as stated. They also reassured me and stated my check would be "processed" on November 30th, 2023. The day came and they stated they mailed out the check the at 4pm EST and it would take up to 10 business days to receive it, depending on the distance from their headquarters to my physical address. Upon waiting, I noticed the app Trust CRM was not allowing me to sign in anymore. I then reached out to the payroll department to ask about my check and the response they gave me threw me off a little. After I have been receiving fast replies by the payroll department, I asked for a phone number to call to further discuss the matter. I have yet to get any help or response since asking for their phone number. I started researching on Google and noticed I was not the only victim to this company's scam. I have more information readily available that I cannot attach everything that I have regarding this case. I hope at least for acknowledgment, if not a resolution.

How did you know for certain that this was a scam?

• Nov 21, 2023

I actually just got the same email and offer thanks now I know this is definitely a scam

• Nov 17, 2023

Thank you K Cronin for sharing the exact situation happened to me. I had a 15min
phone interview from someone in India. Questions were shunned apon a lot of questions I had the rep could not answer. What is within the packages it is as if we are the middle person. Why on earth could the company not ship it. This is the second time I got scammed. The other company was Sorttera. Good luck on your finding for remote work.
