i received an email from Evelyn Andre, with email address [email protected] on Jan. 22. 2017 about a job i applied for at career builder job market. She asked me to set-up a google hangout app to contact the hiring manager of Celtic Healthcare inc. named Mr. Greg Cunningham, with google account [email protected] for the application process. Greg Cunningham discussed through chat the job description and that I shall be working from home. He then asked 15 questions about my professional background like a regular job interview. The next morning, Jan. 23, 2018, he told me that I am qualified for the job and that I will undergo two-weeks of training for the software. He told also me that the company will send a check for me to buy equipments such as Macbook laptop and all-in-one printer to set-up my home mini-office. He ask my full name, and home address to send the check to be used to buy for office equipment to set up for my home-base job. The next day, Jan. 24, 2018, the package arrived via fed-ex and contained therein a cashiers check from associated bank under the remitter name: Raymond Meyers, amounting to almost $5,000.00. The package also contained a letter of instruction from an alleged Mr. Michael Rodgers claiming he is from the payment department. His email address is [email protected]. He asked me to send the deposit slip to his email. Thereafter, I went to the bank and deposited the check in my account. This morning, Jan. 25, 2018, still having doubts of the application process, Greg message me and asked me if the check already cleared. I told him that the bank called me saying that there was problem with the check. He asked to send a screenshot of my bank account to know the status of check. I did not reply afterwards.
