The fraudulent service offer popped up when elderly parent was searching for a way to find a misplaced smart phone. The fee was only $0.99 but there was an automatic subscription to an ongoing "service" ($39 a month) once the $0.99 was initially agreed to. Notice of this automatic ongoing subscription enrollment was not provided before the initial payment of $0.99 was made. According to the Pay Pal Community pages, it seems a lot of people have been scammed. The but there was an automatic subscription to a fraudulent ongoing service ($39 a month) once the $0.99 was agreed to. "HONG KONG SOOUYA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED" is listed as the fee receiver. The email they provide is [email protected]
