My initial contact with this contractor by phone was mid-March. I met him in person on March 22, 2021, and we discussed work to be done. He was given a deposit of $1,500 on March 25, 2021. He was supposed to start work on Friday, March 27,2021, but didn't show up until April 15, 2021. From March 27 until April 21, I heard excuse after excuse as to why he hadn't been able to start the work. April 15 and 16, 2021 he and 2 other workers came and gutted the room. Afterwards we discussed additional findings, and on April 17, 2021, he received another check for $1,250.00 for materials to complete the work. Today is June 15, 2021 and I have not seen the contractor since April 17, 2021. I have consistently trying contacting him by phone and text and keep getting excuses, until he just doesn't answer anymore. He was to supply me with a new contract and I have not seem him. My room is in total uproar, trash outside and he is nowhere to be found.
